Pricing that matches how you deploy

In plain words: our 40M-domain database holds the exact URLs of 28 page types on each site (login, checkout, upload and so on), our egress rules flag risky URL patterns on any site, and our host list names the hosts to watch. Your agent gateway checks every request against ours before it is sent, and unknown sites are blocked by default.

A per-lookup API for live integrations, one-time database licenses for on-prem policy engines, and OEM licensing for products that ship guardrails to their own customers. 40 million+ classified domains — covering 99.99% of active internet usage.

Self-serve — API Subscription Plans

Solo developers and small organizations

Sign up online, pay by PayPal or card, and your API key is active the moment payment completes. Every plan queries the same live database and returns the same record: the page-type map for the domain, verified URLs, IAB content categories, web-filtering categories, and Open PageRank score. Plans differ only in monthly lookup volume, and the per-lookup rate falls as you scale. One incident an allow list would have denied costs more than a decade of any plan here.

How subscribing works: click Subscribe, create your account (username, password, email), and complete payment with PayPal or a credit / debit card on the same page. Your account is activated automatically the moment the subscription is confirmed — no waiting for manual approval. All plans renew monthly and can be cancelled at any time from your PayPal account.
Fair use: API plans are for live lookups from your applications and agents. Systematic enumeration or bulk replication of the database through the API is prohibited; plans are rate-limited per minute. If you need the data in bulk, that is exactly what the database licenses below are for.

Database Licenses

One-time database purchases for on-prem deployment

Load the whole database into your own policy engine — no per-lookup metering, no data leaving your infrastructure. Coverage is measured in traffic, not domain count: the top 15M domains alone cover 99.99% of real-world page visits. Four tiers from 10M domains to the complete 40M+ database, each a popularity-ranked slice of the full repository, delivered as CSV with the complete record: page-type map with verified URLs, IAB categories, filtering categories, ranks and metadata. Every tier can be bought one-time or with monthly refreshes (optional, 30% of the license price per year), and every tier includes our egress rules and host list.

Guardrail companions: the rules file (~40 URL-pattern rules evaluated before the request on any domain, method-aware) and the host list (~150 curated dangerous-infrastructure hosts — cloud consoles, package registries, paste sites, tunnel sinks and more) are included with every database license tier (1M, 5M, 10M, 15M, 30M and OEM) at no extra charge. API-plan subscribers can license both files separately — mention it in the purchase form or contact us.

Optional add-on: monthly refreshes (30% of license / year)

A one-time purchase includes no updates — it is a snapshot, frozen at purchase-date accuracy. The web underneath it keeps moving: sites restructure and their page-type URLs change, domains expire and change hands (sometimes into entirely different content), and new domains appear every day. With monthly refreshes, your copy is re-delivered every month with re-verified classifications and newly screened domains, so your agents keep making decisions on data that reflects the web as it is — not as it was on the day you bought.

URLs move
Page-type URLs change as sites restructure — a login or checkout URL verified today may redirect or 404 after a redesign.
Domains change hands
Domains expire and are re-registered by new owners; yesterday’s documentation site can be today’s parked page or something else entirely.
~300,000 screened
Around 300,000 newly registered domains are screened for inclusion in each update, so refreshed copies keep pace with the growing web.
Monthly re-delivery
Refresh subscribers get a full re-delivery every month with corrections and additions. Every license is complete as delivered; cancel refreshes anytime and your last snapshot is yours forever.

Refresh pricing: 10M +$4,499/yr · 15M +$7,499/yr · 30M +$14,999/yr · 40M+ +$23,999/yr. Tick the refresh box in the purchase form below to include it with your order.

OEM & Custom Licensing — for products, platforms & AI labs

Shipping the data inside your own product — a secure web gateway, enterprise browser, agent framework or safety layer — requires an OEM license: redistribution rights, custom delivery formats (CSV, JSON, SQL, Parquet), and a refresh cadence matched to your release cycle. Custom engagements also cover filtered slices (verticals, countries, your tenants’ domain sets), field extensions, and page-type mapping of domain lists you bring us.

Redistribution rights
License the database inside your shipping product. Standard licenses cover internal use only; OEM covers your customers too.
Custom scope
Vertical or country slices, your own domain lists mapped for 28 page types, custom fields and formats, custom refresh cadence.
Enterprise terms
Invoicing, purchase orders, bank transfer (SWIFT/SEPA), security review, direct engineering contact. Agreements scoped to your deployment.

Lookup Accounting

What counts as a lookup?

Simple, predictable accounting. One domain queried = one lookup, no matter how rich the record that comes back.

One query, one lookup

A lookup is one API request for one domain. The response bundles everything we know about it — the 28-page-type map with verified URLs, IAB Tier 1–4 content categories, and the web-filtering category — and it still counts as a single lookup. You are never billed per field, per category, or per URL returned.

Monthly reset, no surprise bills

Your quota resets on each monthly billing date. Unused lookups do not roll over, and there is no metered overage billing: if you reach your quota, further requests are declined with a clear status code until the next cycle — or until you upgrade. Your card is never charged more than your plan price.

Upgrade mid-cycle

Outgrowing a tier is a one-step change: subscribe to the larger plan and cancel the old one; the new quota applies immediately. Moving up also moves your per-lookup rate down — from $1.10 per 1,000 lookups on Pro to $0.40 per 1,000 on Enterprise, a 64% volume discount.

What’s in a Record

Three taxonomies in every response — at the same price

Most categorization APIs return one label per domain. Every AI Agent Allowlist record carries three layers of classification, so a single lookup answers content questions, policy questions, and agent-guardrail questions at once.

700+ IAB content categories

Full IAB taxonomy across Tiers 1–4, from broad verticals like Finance or Education down to fine-grained subcategories. Use it for content policy, contextual analysis, and brand-suitability decisions in the same call that powers your guardrails.

59 web-filtering categories

A dedicated filtering taxonomy built for block/allow decisions — the categories firewalls, DNS filters and secure web gateways actually act on. Map any domain to its filtering class and enforce organization-wide policy without maintaining your own lists.

28 page types per domain

The layer built for AI agents: for each domain, a map of up to 28 page types — login, signup, checkout, pricing, careers, contact, documentation and more — each with a verified URL. Your agent can be allowed onto a site’s documentation while being kept away from its checkout.

Richer records at the same price point: plans are priced in line with single-taxonomy categorization APIs, but each lookup returns all three layers — content categories, filtering categories, and the page-type map. You do not pay extra for the agent-specific data.
Payment

Payment methods

PayPal subscription
Credit / debit card (via PayPal, no account needed)
Bank transfer & invoice — database licenses
Annual invoicing for Enterprise & OEM on request

API subscriptions bill monthly and can be cancelled anytime from your PayPal account — access continues to the end of the paid period. Database licenses are one-time purchases invoiced with EU VAT handling by Alpha Quantum (Munich, Germany).

FAQ

Pricing questions, answered

What exactly is a lookup?
One API request for one domain. The response includes the full record — the page-type map with up to 28 verified URLs, IAB Tier 1–4 content categories, and the web-filtering category — and counts as a single lookup regardless of how much data is returned.
How does the subscription purchase work?
Click Subscribe on any plan, create an account (username, password, email), and complete payment on the same page via PayPal or a credit / debit card. Your account is activated automatically as soon as the payment is confirmed, and you can start calling the API immediately with the key shown in your account.
Can I pay by card without a PayPal account?
Yes. The PayPal checkout accepts credit and debit cards as a guest — no PayPal account is required. Database licenses can additionally be paid by bank transfer against an invoice.
What happens if I use up my monthly lookups?
Requests beyond your quota are declined with a clear status code until your next billing date — there is no automatic overage billing and no surprise charges. If you need more volume, upgrade to the next tier; the larger quota applies immediately and the per-lookup rate falls as you move up.
Can I upgrade, downgrade or cancel?
Yes, all monthly. To change tiers, subscribe to the new plan and cancel the old subscription from your PayPal account. Cancelling stops future charges; access continues to the end of the period already paid.
Do unused lookups roll over?
No. Quotas reset on each monthly billing date. This keeps plan pricing simple and lets us keep per-lookup rates low at every tier.
How is this different from a normal categorization API?
Coverage and record depth. The database spans 40 million+ classified domains — covering 99.99% of active internet usage — and each record carries three taxonomies: 700+ IAB content categories, 59 web-filtering categories, and the agent-specific page-type map with verified URLs for up to 28 page types per domain. You get all three layers in every lookup at a price comparable to single-taxonomy APIs.
Which database tier should I buy?
The 10M tier ($14,999) is the right start for most production policy engines: an unclassified domain is a policy blind spot, and at 10M+ domains your default-deny noise drops sharply. Choose 15M ($24,999) to cover 99.99% of real-world page visits and 30M ($49,999) when you need the long tail: niche, regional and newly registered domains. If you redistribute data inside a product, you need the OEM license instead.
Does a one-time database purchase include updates?
No — a one-time purchase is a snapshot, frozen at purchase-date accuracy. Page-type URLs change as sites restructure, domains expire and change hands, and roughly 300,000 newly registered domains are screened for inclusion in each update. The monthly refresh add-on (30% of the license price per year) re-delivers your tier every month with re-verified classifications; tick the box in the purchase form to include it with your order.
How is the database delivered?
As CSV via a client portal download link, sent after payment. Records include the domain, popularity rank, country, IAB categories, filtering category, and the page-type map with verified URLs. Custom formats and field selections are available on OEM agreements.
Can I try the data before buying?
Yes — download the free 100-domain sample CSV to inspect the exact record structure and classification quality, or start on the $99 Pro API plan and cancel anytime.
Do you offer refunds?
API subscriptions can be cancelled anytime, which stops all future charges. For database licenses we encourage validating with the free sample first; if a delivery does not match the documented record structure, contact us and we will make it right.
